We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all dishes are prepared in a safe and sanitary manner. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies properly. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or cooking roles. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others as needed. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in restaurant settings. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that enhance the dining experience.
