Halibut House is currently seeking an experienced

Cook

to supervise the back-of-house operations for its Barrie location.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Co-ordinate Kitchen Operations, including daily prep and cooking Ensure that meals are prepared in a timely manner in accordance with Halibut House recipes, plating specifications, etc. Ensure food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization storage and sanitation of food products Clean and organize the kitchen at all times.Follow all checklists and cleaning schedules as provided Maintain inventory levels Train new Line Cooks Other duties, as required

Experience:



Passion for the kitchen 2 - 4 years cooking and food storage/safety expertise Possess strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment Possess Food Handler Certificate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
