We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our BOH team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
