Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring proper food handling practices at all times.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including meal preparation and food handling techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
