We are looking to expand our kitchen offerings and need an additional Line Cook/Dishwasher to be part of the team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food with precision and efficiency, maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards, and supporting the overall flow of our busy kitchen. Whether you're chopping vegetables, plating dishes, or ensuring the dishwashing station runs smoothly, your contributions will be vital to delivering exceptional service and memorable meals. Responsibilities



Prepare ingredients and assist in food assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications. Cook a variety of menu items with attention to presentation, taste, and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen stations, including the dishwashing area, to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices at all times. Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed. Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, fryers, and dishwashers. Ensure timely cleaning of dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours. Follow all health department guidelines and safety protocols diligently.

Skills



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Good communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
