We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for both food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring that our culinary operations run smoothly. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and communicate needs to management.
Participate in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential.
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in meal preparation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
