Responsibilities:

? Set up and maintain a

clean, organized workstation

.

? Prepare and cook menu items according to

restaurant quality and presentation standards

.

? Ensure compliance with

health and safety regulations

to maintain food quality.

? Prep fresh ingredients, including

chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and making sauces

.

? Stock, organize, and maintain inventory of ingredients and toppings.

? Safely and efficiently operate

kitchen equipment

such as fryers, slicers, and grills.

? Assist with

dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning

as needed.

? Handle and prepare

meat and poultry

following food safety guidelines.

? Work

quickly and accurately under pressure

while maintaining high standards.

? Support the kitchen team with

various tasks

as required.

? Ensure proper food storage and maintain cleanliness in prep areas.

Requirements:

?

At least 1-2 year

of experience in a restaurant kitchen as line cook.

?

At least 1-2 year

of experience as a kitchen helper

? Strong knowledge of

cooking techniques, kitchen procedures, and knife skills

.

? Ability to work

efficiently with attention to detail

.

? Proficiency in

reading and following cooking instructions.

? Excellent

organizational and time management skills

.

? Ability to

stay calm and perform efficiently

in a fast-paced environment.

? Self-motivated, reliable, and able to

work independently or as part of a team

.

? Live in Waterdown/Halton/Hamilton region as bus routes are unreliable in the area
