Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

Skills

Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring high-quality output.
