Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team in Westboro. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality meals and assisting in various food service tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety standards, excellent food handling skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Help in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is a must. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to help others in the kitchen are highly valued.
