Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak hours
Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain health and safety standards
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
