We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations.
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
