We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's standards of excellence.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly after use.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety standards is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
