We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. Your expertise in food preparation and cooking will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow food safety guidelines for handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as required
Requirements
Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, preferably as a Line Cook
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting
