We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and supporting overall kitchen operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute all assigned menu items with precision and timeliness, as directed by the Chef or kitchen leadership.
Follow standardized recipes, portioning guidelines, and safety procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
Assist with prep work, deep cleaning, and stock rotation; promptly report any concerns regarding product quality, consistency, or deliveries to the Chef or Purchasing Manager.
Work efficiently to minimize waste and uphold the highest quality standards for all food items prepared.
Complete assigned duties before the end of each shift and provide support to teammates as needed.
Adhere strictly to all kitchen safety protocols, hygiene standards, and health regulations.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and kitchen procedures.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is required
Valid Food Handler Certificate is mandatory
First Aid Certification is considered an asset
Professional reference is required
Strong attention to detail, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to learn and grow within a team environment
Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as require.
