From the team behind the Award Winning AnnaLena Restaurant (@annalenayvr), we are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen interest in the food industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, including chopping, slicing, and marinating. Follow recipes and instructions from the head chef to ensure consistency and quality in meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all kitchen staff and customers. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices.

Requirements:

Previous experience in food service or a related role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new culinary techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
