We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our standards of excellence.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Assist with meal preparation and ingredient organization to streamline kitchen operations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak service times.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a Greek/Middeteranean restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
Excellent time management skills, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills, able to work collaboratively with others in the kitchen.
