Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
- Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in the food industry
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety principles and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Skills:
- Food handling: Ability to handle, prepare, and store food safely according to regulations.
- Cooking: Proficient in cooking techniques such as grilling, sauteing, frying, etc.
- Food preparation: Skilled in preparing ingredients, cutting, chopping, measuring, etc.
- Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Meal preparation: Ability to follow recipes and portion control for meal preparation.
- Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed.
- Food service: Understanding of customer service principles in a restaurant setting.
- Food industry: Familiarity with the operations and standards of the food industry.
- Kitchen: Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Restaurant: Knowledge of restaurant operations and workflows.
