Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for cooking. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in cooking and plating meals according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service. Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
