We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all tools. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong culinary skills with a focus on fine dining presentation and quality. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with menu planning and meal preparation tailored to diverse dietary needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
