Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations. Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages. Follow proper cooking techniques and maintain high standards of quality. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation and safety procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
