We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking meals, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
Assist in meal preparation and plating of dishes for service
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in food presentation
Experience with serving, meal preparation, and general food service is advantageous
