Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
• Ensure all food is stored properly and adheres to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling food products.
• Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
