We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team at Ana's Hotspot. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the restaurant, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards of excellence and food safety.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications. Ensure all food is prepared with attention to quality, presentation, and portion control. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Assist in the inventory management of food supplies, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock. Can also jump in the front and be customer-facing to take orders and handle customer requests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry.
