We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Follow proper food safety procedures at all times, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients
Support meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Skills
Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail in meal presentation and quality control
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in meal preparation
Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in food safety
Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt to menu changes as needed
