We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
Handle food items with care, following proper food handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and special events.
Experience
Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
