Job Overview:

Sea Salt Seafood Cafe is looking for a seasoned Line Cook with experience in delivering a flavorful, high-quality food. Candidate must have strong kitchen prep skills and experience on a line to join our back-of-house team.

A love for food -- especially seafood -- and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must.

Basic Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality food consistently, efficiently, and in accordance with food safety standards Stay organized and focused in a fast-paced kitchen environment Work both independently and as part of a team to support smooth service and prep flow

Essential Duties:

Set up and stock prep stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies Follow prep lists and recipes accurately to prepare food for service Keep a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times Follow all safe food handling and hygiene standards Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all ingredients Support other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager

Required Skills & Attributes:

Comfortable working with seafood and in a seafood-focused kitchen High tolerance for repetition and strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality Self-motivated with the ability to maintain urgency and momentum throughout your shift Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic food handling and preparation knowledge

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
