Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Line Cook you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of food safety. This position requires leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and staff supervision. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and presentation meet restaurant standards. Train and mentor kitchen staff on food safety practices, cooking techniques, and menu items. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Provide support during peak service times to ensure smooth operations.

Experience



Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Line Cook or similar position within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,680.00-$49,920.00 per year
