We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen organization.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
Assist with menu planning and development as needed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary
Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook at a similar establishment
Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and meat preparation techniques
Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Experience in fine dining or catering environments preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Minimum of 3 years of experience at a similar establishment
Must hold a valid work permit for 3 years minimum. No sponsorship.

Competences culinaires solides, y compris la maitrise du couteau et les techniques de preparation de la viande
Connaissance des pratiques du service dietetique ou experience en tant qu'aide-dietetique (un atout)
Maitrise des reglements en matiere de securite alimentaire et des meilleures pratiques de manipulation
Experience en restauration gastronomique ou en service traiteur (preferee)
Capacite a travailler efficacement dans un environnement de cuisine rapide
Excellentes competences en travail d'equipe et en communication
Flexibilite pour travailler a differents horaires, y compris en soiree et les fins de semaine
Minimum de 3 ans d'experience dans un etablissement similaire
