We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, preferably as a Line Cook or similar role.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
