Reporting to the head Chef Jeremy, you will have lots of opportunity to grow in your position and within the company, learning new techniques and skills. Take pride by maintaining a clean workplace, prep, cook, and plate dozens of dishes, or support the catering side. RESPONSIBILITIES \xc2\xb7 Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment \xc2\xb7 Cook food using a variety of techniques and tools \xc2\xb7 Provide food at a high level of execution using strong safety and cleaning standards \xc2\xb7 Ensure great presentation of food menu items \xc2\xb7 Keep a sanitized, safe and orderly environment in the kitchen \xc2\xb7 Ensure all food and other items are stored properly \xc2\xb7 Check and maintain quality of product and ingredients \xc2\xb7 Monitor stock and request orders when there are shortages \xc2\xb7 Cooperate/communicate with all staff and guests in a respectful and effective way \xc2\xb7 Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines REQUIREMENTS We are willing to train you if you truly want to be in the kitchen but have no experience, however there are certain benchmarks that you have to be at before we can take you on. Before applying ask yourself- am I able to show up on time to all my shifts? Am I able to take and understand direction in English?
