Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards for excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and handling practices. Assist in menu planning, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes and specials. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating strong knife skills. Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a line cook or similar role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining settings. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Experience in menu planning and catering is a plus. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen staff. Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a dietary department is advantageous but not required.
