We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Assist in the inventory management of food supplies and ingredients
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering orders as needed
Follow instructions from the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager regarding daily tasks
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
Experience in meal preparation, including serving and plating dishes
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
