We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment and a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare various types of cuisine.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
