Duties



Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety of dishes Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly during busy service hours Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Follow serving protocols when plating dishes for presentation and customer service

Requirements



Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards Familiarity with food handling procedures and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and effective communication with kitchen staff and servers Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed Passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
