Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to providing high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to all food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.

Must have a MINIMUM of 3 years experience as a pasta cook in a fast paced Italian Restaurant

Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 5 EVENINGS A WEEK (Mandatory)

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as necessary. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional meals.
