We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, ensuring that every meal is prepared to perfection and meets our high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly and safely. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation and serving dishes to customers.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and utensils used in the kitchen. Previous experience in the food industry or similar roles is preferred but not required.
