We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that every dish meets our standards for quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Assist with meal preparation and plating for service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed
Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
