Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist with meal preparation and presentation, ensuring quality and consistency. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Participate in the cleaning and sanitization of kitchen equipment and utensils. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
