Fresh Cup, a locally owned cafe in Saanichton for over 25 years, continues to grow. and are now seeking a

Line Cook with a savoury focus

who has a

minimum of 2 years

cooking experience and is looking to expand their experience.

Skills for this position must include: competent knowledge of making soups, cooking vegetables, pastas, cold salads, cooking meats, production planning and Microsoft Word and Excel.

Some bakery knowledge, or a keen interest to learn more about bakery would be helpful. The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years working in a kitchen setting and understands multi-tasking well. We have a catering contract with Compass Food Group to provide food and bakery products to the second Fresh Cup YYJ Cafe location, located inside the Victoria International Airport.

, on the Saanich Peninsula offers in-house roasted organic coffees and a complete line of complimentary freshly baked goods, pastries, in-house breads and buns, and savoury items to compliment their existing selection of every day comfort foods. The majority of our bakery, pastries & food is made in-house using locally or B.C. sourced organic ingredients.

The full time position is 36-40 hours per week, offering a fixed schedule, and the potential to have a flexible start time based on commuting needs.

$21-$23/hour to start

for those with the noted experience,

plus a monthly bonus after a 3 month.
