Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable

Line Cook

to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong work ethic. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with our restaurant's recipes and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards Assist with inventory and control of food costs Handle food and equipment safely and responsibly Follow the direction of the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager

Qualifications:

Proven cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiarity with industry best practices Food Handler Certification is an asset

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
