The ideal candidate must possess minimum two years' experience and a solid record of good performance. Must also be able to work weekends.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Closing the kitchen
Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by the recipe and to specification
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups and other food items using a full range of cooking methods
Able to organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders
Ensure that all products are stored properly in the correct location at the appropriate levels at all times
Responsible to maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area
Communicating to managers about any issues that arise
Professional Skills
Knowledge of kitchen tools and utensils - ability to operate standard kitchen equipment
Preparing Food -excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Efficiency and speed -ensure the objectives of the station are met properly while ensuring high-quality food standards
Organization -ensure the right tools, appliances and ingredients are ready anytime needed
Knowledge of health and safety code and protocol
