Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations and also have experience cooking brunch. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This position requires a commitment to excellence in food preparation and service within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking and cleaning. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Handle food safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on new dishes.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. Strong communication skills to coordinate with other kitchen staff effectively.

Pay: $15.70-$19.00 per hour
