We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals while ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
