We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing delicious meals to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry.
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation, and presentation techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory.
A passion for cooking and providing exceptional service is essential.
