We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of food handling and preparation.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with other kitchen staff.
