We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of all food served
Assist in inventory management by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering services as needed
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and food handling practices
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food service
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
Previous experience in restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory
A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is highly valued
