Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards for taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy guests' needs. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
