Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly, adhering to all food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Assist in setting up and breaking down the kitchen before and after service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management. Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling and preparation techniques. Participate in menu planning and development as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality. Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.11-$20.77 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
