We are seeking someone Passionate about cooking. Experience is preferred but not necessary as long as you are very experienced at home. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef / Owner in managing a 2-3 person kitchen, Creating new ideas and dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in the fast-paced environment of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen as well as do dishes when needed.
Collaborate with team members to create innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area.
Experience
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety regulations and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Experience in restaurant management is preferred, with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Familiarity with bartending is a plus, enhancing overall service capabilities within the establishment.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
