Wages:
$16.00-$20.00 + Tips and Overtime eligibility

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong cooking and knife skills, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
Ability to multitask and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Time management is a must as we strive on low wait times
Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including the cleaning of workstations and equipment
Ability to work quickly while maintaining high food quality, especially during busy periods.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced, often hot environment

Responsibilities: As a line cook / prep cook, you will:
The Prep Cook is responsible for assisting in food preparation and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. They work under the direction of the kitchen manager to ensure all ingredients are prepped and ready for use during meal service. This role is essential to ensuring smooth kitchen operations and contributing to the preparation of high-quality meals.
Wash, peel, chop, and slice vegetables
Measure and prepare sauces according to recipes
Prepare beef, chicken, pork and fish for service
Keep the prep area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
Follow food safety standards, including proper food storage and handling
Notify the kitchen manager when supplies are running low or need to be replenished
Ensure all ingredients are prepped in a timely manner to meet service demands

The Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food in a fast-paced kitchen environment according to specific recipes and orders. They work under the direction of the kitchen manager to ensure that dishes are prepared, plated, and served with precision and in a timely manner. The role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Ensure proper cooking times and temperatures to maintain food quality and safety
Manage multiple food orders at once while maintaining speed and accuracy
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
Garnish dishes and plate food according to the restaurant's presentation standards
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for everyone
Set up and break down assigned cooking stations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking area
Work closely with other line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, coordinated service
Help with the storage and rotation of ingredients and products to prevent spoilage
Report inventory shortages or equipment issues to the kitchen manager
Complete our online training so you can easily learn all of our menu items and how everything works in the kitchen
